We were asked to make an anamorphic image for a Temenos event at the ExCel Centre. It created a highly successful interactive feature, where guests could have their photo taken, standing on the ‘floating platform’. With an accompanying hashtag, it was used to grive social engagement for the event.
With numerous technical conciderations, this was a fantastic process to develop, that we look forward to applying in other projects.
For the anamorphic effect we dusted off maths skills and developed a CGI camera setup that perfectly creates the required distortion to give full control over viewing position and height for the perfect result.
At 9m x 9m, the image was incredably large and could be viewed up close, requiring a hige pixel count and high level of detail.
We were delighted to be invited to redesign the Little Learners driving room at Mercedes Benz World.
The project saw us create both wall art and a new 3D logo for the experience.
For the wall art, we built a complete city, packed with content that showcased renewable energy and Mercedes’ electric car fleet. THis then covered the entire 35m x 5m wall space, creating a fully emmersive kids area within the Mercedes Museum.
Keeping the playful feel, we then produced an updated 3D logo design, which was used thorughout and completed the visual identiy for the area.
We created a life-sized view into the Formula One Mercedes Petronas team garages and accompanying pit lane floor for a F1 museum display.
Working closely with the Mercedes F1 team, we created a detailed CGI model of the entire team Mercedes double garage at Silverstone, capturing every detail of their set up.
The resulting 14m x 3m illuminated canvas reproduced a view into the garages at true-to-life size.
The images needed to be both heavily detailed and highly accurate as the display could be closely inspected by visitors . A site visit to the pit lane of the Silverstone international circuit enabled us to document and reproduce the pit lane track surface and gather the spherical view data of Silverstone that would be seen in the reflective surfaces throughout the canvas.

Another large format image for Mercedes, where we produced a giant 16m x 16m floor image of F1 circuit, including track, chevrons, grass and gravel areas.
The image is installed as part of the driving simulation experience at Mercedes Benz World.
We were commissioned to create a large format F1 image to be displayed in the Mercedes Benz-World museum.
With the image needing to reflect many years of Mercedes' success, both past and future, the car , driver and scene capture the teams efforts, rather than any one driver, car model or track.
To achieve the enormous print size at a high resolution, we created a cgi scene, to which we applied vector based motion tracking to create a physically accurate dynamic result.
As part of a large format creative image set, we produced the lead art to promote the AMG driving experiences at the Silverstone race circuit. The image featured as a large format banner in many locations and was used extensively in print, social marketing and POS advertising

the lead image for Mercedes-Benz World’s Christmas campaign.
with such a stylised concept, it was the perfect opportunity to make a pure CGI automotive image where both car and location were digitally modelled, with no photography required.
made specifically for large format printing, we clocked up a mighty 25,000px width, giving stunning detail which can be seen in the shots below.
The image set was run across multiple large format banners as well as use across print advertising, social and POS.

Using our put-garage CGI artwork from our museum installation, we created pit garage artwork for a series of Mercedes Pop-up stores that opened in various cities across the UK.
The large format image served as a backdrop for the in-store driving simulator.

Our large format artwork used as a banner for the Mercedes display at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed.
a series of images for Mercedes-Benz World's christmas 2014 advertising and marketing campaigns. Working with our original set of 2014 images, the christmas variations add a bit of festive sparkle and magic to the MBW brand identity.

a new and rather special commission from Mercedes, we were asked to design, model, assemble and oversee the assembly of a physical architects model of the entire 1.2km long Mercedes-Benz World site.
the completed model is now on permanent display in the Mercedes-Benz world museum and driving experience centre in Weybridge, UK.
initially we modelling the entire site in 3D wireframe. bringing together topographical data, architects models and endless site documentation, we created an accurate 1:200 scale CGI model that included detail down to pavement edging and traffic cones.
after a few test areas to test the detail and finish we could achieve, the 6m x 2m scene was formed out of a block of polyurethane model board using a cnc mill.
elements such as the main building were designed and milled separately while 3D printing was used to produce the most detailed areas that could not be achieved through cnc cutting.
after painting, the project moved on site where an electrical team installed led lighting beneath the track areas and we added the building and other detailed model parts.
the model now serves as an interactive display, offering information through the front counter about the site, and the many racing track areas.
